How Cast Iron had its own beard trimmer made in the style of the brand
Cast Iron is a Dutch menswear brand that sits under the same roof as PME Legend and Vanguard. The collection covers jeans, shirts, knitwear and jackets, with dark blue, white and red as its fixed colours. For a step outside the wardrobe, Cast Iron had Loopper develop a beard trimmer carrying the brand logo with the line Premium Groom below it.

Cast Iron chose a custom beard trimmer, finished in matt and gloss black. The logo sits in white on the grip, with the line Premium Groom underneath. The narrow blade is made for clean lines along the jaw and at the neck. Black on black keeps the whole thing calm, so the logo is the only element that stands out.
What Loopper delivered
For Cast Iron we produced a beard trimmer with the brand logo on the grip. The print is applied in white on a black housing, at a size that stays legible without breaking up the shape of the device. The emblem and the wordmark line sit one above the other, exactly as they do on the labels of the collection.
A product that fits the rest of the collection
In the clothing Cast Iron works with dark blue, white and red. In the accessories that becomes black. The trimmer follows the same line and stands on the washbasin between a comb, a towel and a soap dispenser in the same tone. A brand that wants to reach beyond clothing needs products that belong on a shelf like that without having to make the logo big.
